Charlotte's Web Studios, L.L.C. announced today that founder, Caryl A. Clippinger will be a panelist speaker at: "Media Convergence: How the New World of Media Interdependence will Rock your World and your Job" - A Professional Development and Career Networking Seminar sponsored by the Penn State College of Communications and its Constituent Alumni Society.
The seminar, to be held at Gannett Co., Inc's headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, will examine the latest trends and nuances in media convergence in the communications industry. Ms. Clippinger will participate as a panelist speaker in the session "Why Freelancers, Consultants, and Entrepreneurs Are Omnipresent in the World of Media Convergence," and focus on industry trends including design, the Internet, visual communications, and multimedia development.
The Media Convergence Seminar will follow a reception at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and will feature numerous communications industry professionals including: Brian Lamb, founder of C-SPAN, and Thomas Curley, president and publisher of USA TODAY.
