OTHER DEVELOPMENT ISSUES
There are other issues that may need to be decided upon before beginning the development of the CD/DVD project. These issues can affect the overall project & how it is developed:

  • Should the CD/DVD run on it's own without requiring any other software? (please see the CD Development Formats section for a list of development formats that do not require other software in order to run.)
  • If there will be PDF files in the CD/DVD, would you also like to include Adobe Acrobat Reader on the CD/DVD? Would you like for the CD/DVD project to check the users computer to see if Adobe Acrobat is already installed?
  • If you are including video clips on the CD/DVD, would you also like to include a video viewer/player?
  • What parts or screens of the CD/DVD need to be printed?
